Donations and gifts of money are the main method used to support our programs and are always welcome! We are a publicly supported charity and like any non-profit we have to pay the bills to keep the lights on, the museum free, websites running, supplies on hand, insurance, etc.
If you want to do more and direct your gift to support other programs beyond the museum or basic operating expenses, such as sponsor student trips to France, add a Veteran’s name to the Omaha Beach Statue plaques, name the new museum wing after your hero, buy archive supplies, a bookshelf, support the re-modeling of an exhibit or gallery, please specify in the field below. We will happily accommodate all spending preferences from our donors.
Money isn’t the only thing we need! Artifacts and archive materials that would add to the exhibits and research capabilities are always welcome and needed. Extra surplus items (non-artifact) or used books, etc. that we could sell in the gift shop area for some extra funds are also helpful.
We also value your time! We need volunteers in all areas! Museum greeters/docents help open and close the museum daily, interact with our guests and operate the gift area as well as answer phones and provide basic information to visitors. You don’t have to be a unit veteran or historian – we will train you! We also need help with librarian and archive staff as our research capability grows. Our artifact collection is ready for helping hands right now. We get more objects in every month, sometimes faster than we can record them and properly store them.
However you choose to help and support us, please contact us using the info below, or click HERE.
Your donation is tax-deductible and educates current and future generations about our incredible past and current contributions.
