Our Veterans Memorials

On June 6, 2014 the 116th Regimental Combat Team, 29th Division, “EVER FORWARD” Statue and Memorial Plaques were unveiled and dedicated just above “OMAHA BEACH” on a site at the Vierville Draw in Normandy, France. The statue and it’s memorial plaques overlook the beaches where the 116th Regiment landed on D-Day and experienced the greatest losses of any Allied unit on June 6, 1944.

You can memorialize your D-Day, WWII or 29th Division service veteran by placing their name and rank on the permanent bronze plaques starting with a $5,000 contribution to the 116th Foundation.

The Foundation also continues to raise funds to install additional educational and interpretive signage at the site. Funding the ongoing care and maintenance of the memorial that perpetuates our WWII History.

Thank you for your generous support of the 116th Infantry Regiment Foundation, Inc.!

We have created an Honor Roll Memorial Blog to remember every 116th Infantry Regiment member who was killed in action or died while on active duty for wartime service. We have conducted extensive family research for each soldier listed and have been able to write a biography for each one. We will not forget them.
